For living rooms, we love wool and bamboo. Wool has a natural resilience that stays beautiful for years, even in high-traffic areas. Bamboo feels soft and cool underfoot, with a subtle sheen that catches the light beautifully. Both are 100% natural and completely free of PFAS or chemical treatments.
With custom sizing, you think about the layout of your space before you choose. Should the rug run beneath the sofa? Float freely in the room? That determines the size — and we work that out with you.
Natural rug for the bedroom: waking up softly
A bedroom calls for something different. Less dynamism, more stillness. The rug beneath your feet when you step out of bed in the morning should feel soft, warm and right in the morning light.
Wool and alpaca are our favourite materials for the bedroom. Both regulate temperature naturally — warm in winter, comfortable in summer. Alpaca is exceptionally soft and lightweight, and feels like something you won't want to be without.
A custom bedroom rug means getting the proportions exactly right: enough space on both sides of the bed, sitting exactly where you want it — or deliberately floating a few centimetres from the wall. No standard size that leaves you second-guessing.
Hallway rug made to measure: first impressions matter
The hallway is small, but defining. Whoever comes through the door sets the tone for your home in those first few steps. A good hallway rug welcomes — and keeps the dirt outside.
For hallways, custom sizing is essential. Hallways are rarely standard in shape: they're long, narrow, angled or irregular. A rug that doesn't quite fit doesn't work. A rug made to measure, in jute or cotton, always does.
Jute is sturdy, honest and earthy, a natural choice for an entrance. Cotton is easier to maintain and a smart option when a lot of people come and go. Both are entirely natural and PFAS-free.

Children live on the floor. They crawl, play, lie down and nearly sleep on it. That makes the choice of material beneath them more important than in any other room.

Underfloor heating and rugs can coexist beautifully — as long as you choose the right materials. Synthetic fibres conduct heat poorly and can even break down slightly with prolonged use. Natural materials breathe and work with the warmth.
Wool and bamboo are the best choices for underfloor heating. Wool is a natural thermal conductor — it allows heat to pass through without compromising the quality of the fibre. Bamboo is thin enough to distribute warmth evenly and remains comfortable underfoot.
